Bahá’í Community Life

Patterns of Community Life

Canadian Bahá’ís come from diverse backgrounds and are dedicated to the promotion of a global society that reconciles the spiritual and material aspects of life.

They are engaged in a process of building communities that mostly consists of four activities, these activities are called 'Core Activities'

Participating in Public Discourse

Personal Transformation

Building Community

Social Action

In Newmarket, Bahá’ís are working with a widening circle of their friends and neighbours to create patterns of community life that promote spiritual and material progress for all.

The vision of society expressed in Bahá’u’lláh’s writings centre on the oneness of the human family, calling on us to eliminate all forms of prejudice from our relationships — whether based on race, religion, gender, social class, or ethnicity.

All programs are offered virtually through Zoom
